What qualities do you need to succeed at British American Tobacco?
It's important to know how to lead people, because in the long run, the higher you progress in your career, the more you have to deal with people and lead and inspire them.
What's been your proudest moment?
I was given the chance to plan a huge project with a half a million dollar budget while still being a management trainee. I think it's a big opportunity and yes, I think it's an honour.

A lot goes into creating an environment for people to be the best they can be.
What made you choose British American Tobacco?
There is genuinely a buzz around the building, as soon as you walk through the front door.
Tell us about your biggest challenge
Getting into a new place, a new role, particularly in a different culture to the one you have previously been working in, in a different country. It's getting up to speed and adapting, and getting a team to work together effectively, as quickly as possible.
What made you want to work for a tobacco company?
To me, British American Tobacco is a company that has a very sustainable future and also fulfils its social responsibilities.
